  •
Note: Ride will not go in rain or wet roads. Terrain: Rolling 26-45. I'm hoping the traffic is light on Wednesday, since school may be out. Let's take a ride up towards Rockland County and pass back through Park Ridge to stop at Il Freno Espresso Bar for coffee or maybe one of their diet-defying waffles. If we want to extend the ride, we can. The route is a different riff on some of the other rides we usually take, shamelessly leveraged from a local bike shop. Bring hydration and a happy, sunny vibe. https://ridewithgps.com/routes/28613296
  •
Join us on this easy route gravel ride, suitable for Mountain/Trail/Gravel/Cyclocross bikes, most of the route is hard pack dirt or cycle paths. If you’re planning on using your road bike, I would suggest durable tires (28mm wide, I use 33mm Tubeless) with puncture protection to minimize the chance of a flat on the dirt sections. Don't forget a spare tube & pump. https://ridewithgps.com/routes/28617166 Starting point is the car park at the Tallman Bike Path, just north of The 9W Market. Then a short road ride to the Joseph B. Clarke Rail-Trail to Sparkill, then off road as we climb above Piermont and almost to central Nyack. Returning home along the same route with a detour onto the Tallman Park Cycle Path back to the car park. Should take about 1 hour. Note: Ride will not go in rain or wet roads. . Terrain: Moderately hilly 46-55.
  •
Note: Oscar Hernandez will be filling in for Alan this week. Ride will not go in rain or wet roads. Terrain: Flat 0-25. NOTE EARLIER START TIME A Wednesday night tradition returns for the ? season. Bring your bike to ride and bring the bottle for dinner afterwards. We're starting off slow and will increase the pace as the season progresses. The routes will be mostly flat with an occasional short climb. There are no cue sheets but there is a sweep and no one will be dropped. After the ride, we head to Turvino's Pizza to dine with our friends doing the C, C*, B*, and A rides. Ride length and route varies based on weather and daylight.
  •

  •
Note: Ride will not go in rain or wet roads. Terrain: Moderately hilly 46-55. Come and be part of the Thursday Morning Social rides for the 2018 season. As always the ride will be a fun filled, leisurely paced B ride. Route to be determined day of the ride. Lunch stop but no cue sheets. Newcomers welcome. It's been a long biking season. You've done all the Fondos, and have been to Nyack enough that you now want to ride gravel grinders to give your riding a new raison d'être. JORBA, New Jersey's mountain biking advocacy organization has put together this event to give you a chance to enjoy some mountain biking, even if you no longer trust that 20 year old mountain bike in the basement. Demo bikes are available for no cost and with a simple signup procedure. http://njmountainbikefestival.com/schedule.html If you sign up here, I will contact you to select one of the rides on the schedule. You certainly don't need me if a different one is more suitable for you. Just be aware that demo bikes are ridden on a specific loop (about 30 minutes) so they cannot be used on a group ride. See the event description for details on bike demos and entry to the park. There is a $10 entry fee, and I believe a $5 parking fee.

The Heritage Trail was one of Diana's favorite rides (no downhills, no busy intersections) and she loved it in the fall. We will meet in Goshen and ride east past Monroe. Along the way we can share our personal Diana stories and might even do a tribute tip-toe across a road (Diana's signature move). After the ride we can gather at Character's as Diana often did and toast her remarkable life and impact on us all. Hope you can join us. Note: Ride will not go in rain or wet roads. Terrain: Flat 0-25.
