Volunteers of the Month (VOTM) - October 2006: Iggy Mongelli
Iggy Mongelli may be new to the club (he joined just one year ago) but he has already shown us what volunteering is all about. If he sees something needs to be done, he steps right in without being asked. We've see him helping out with merchandise at club meetings, assisting with early morning food distribution at our last two rallies, talking to newcomers, sweeping on rides where one was needed, leading his own rides, the list goes on and on.
Not only is he seeking new members within his own community, but he also got actively involved in food procurement, a much-needed talent for our rally. While leading rides close to his home in Pompton Lakes he champions our club to any riders he meets, and exhibits endless patience and support to our newer D riders.
Heavily involved in his local school, he manages to promote BTCNJ where and whenever he can. Keep up the good work, Iggy. We could use more just like you!
Please join us when we congratulate him at the October meeting.
