MEMBERSHIP MATTERS

February is a good time to renew your membership or join BTCNJ. I know it’s hard to believe, but spring is just around the corner, and you don’t want to miss out on all the rides and related activities that our club off ers year round. No matter when you joined, if you renew now, you can count on uninterrupted Membership e-letters and MasterLinks throughout 2010 and beyond.

If you’re thinking of joining our club, there’s no better time, and here are some good reasons why:

• Anyone can ride a bike. We off er rides at every level.
• Bike riding is great exercise.
• What better way to get out into nature and appreciate the environment?
• It’s free. (Okay, some of us get carried away with all the “stuff ” we can buy.)
• It’s social. Many friendships, and more than a few romances, have blossomed in our bike club.
• We do a lot more than ride – we have parties, picnics, rallies, and new member dinners.
• We give back to the community through our donation to Camp Sunshine and our support of many charity rides and bike-related events.
• Our weekends and trips provide vacations at group rates to new and interesting destinations.
• We encourage and recognize our members’ talents through volunteer opportunities and networking.
• Families are welcome! Biking together is quality time.
